Gravity Protocol a decentralized oracle and cross chain protocol and network has announced the launch of its network mainnet as a cross chain between Waves and Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The release comes after the creators of gravity protocol had initially shown their integration test framework in an effort to facilitate the process of integrating the Binance Smart Chain and other blockchains as Gravity target chain.
Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is fully compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machines (EVM) and therefore can function with Ethereum tools and decentralized applications (DApps), making it easier for developers to Port their projects over from Ethereum blockchain Network.
The release is in alpha mode and hasn’t been audited according to the official announcement. The first product built on top of Gravity is SuSy, a protocol and interface for cross chain gateways with the Waves as origin and Binance Smart Chain as the destination chain. The mainnet alpha is currently accessible through susy.gravity.tech and it provides an interface that enables users to swap USDN tokens from Waves to BSC. USDN’s on the Binance Smart Chain incorporates an identical functionality as on Ethereum, which includes auto staking, elastic supply, and staking rewards that are automatically distributed among all holders.
The announcement also stated that users who are already providing liquidity for USDN in supported pools such as Pancakes Swap, StableX and Burgers Swap can expect to be rewarded for their important work although no mention of what they will receive was stated.
Future development on susy.gravity.tech will allow all major tokens on the Waves ecosystem such as NSBT, WEST, ERGO, and SIGN to be swappable on the swap portal. Tokens issued via the SuSy gateway will also be made available on popular AMM services such as Pancake Swap, BurgarSwapp and StableX.
