The crypto exchange plans on conducting security token offerings(STO’s) “in due course” ,this is to help small and medium sized businesses to raise funds. The official report stated.

“Digital assets are poised to be the future of tomorrow’s digital economy. With DBS Digital Exchange, a bank-backed digital exchange, companies, and investors can now leverage an integrated ecosystem of solutions to tap the vast potential of private markets and digital currencies,” the DBS exchange announcement stated.

The exchange will be monitored and regulated by the monetary authority and will leverage the banks expensive experience over the years in capital markets and providing secure custodial services.

DBS digital exchange does not plan on allowing deposits and storage on the exchange platform itself, they plan on allowing  customers to store all digital assets with the DBS bank. To ensure that users funds are safe, the bank has deployed an institutional

Grade custody solution specifically tailored  to the safe keeping of digital asses.

Unlike other crypto currency exchange which allows for the trading of Cryptocurrencies anytime including weekends, DBS digital Exchange will not allow trading on weekends and also has time limits to trading on weekdays which are from 9am to 4pm similar stocks  exchange .

The FAQ section of the website also indicated that the exchange platform would be available to institutional investors who would need to access  the platform through a DBS member such as DBS buckets securities (Singapore) and DBS private bank.

Mashinsky is notable for his work bringing cell phone service and free WiFi to the New York City subways, enabling WiFI on U.S. flights, and creating Voice over IP (VoIP). And Leon has had an accomplished career as a social entrepreneur, serving as a leader at several organizations, including Atlis Labs, Beyon3D, and GroundLink.

The scammer links a site cryptoforhealth .com (might want to stay off the site until twitter comes up with a solution) where they claim to help people in this hard times of Covid-19, they also claim that top exchanges such as Binance, Kraken, Gemini etc are in partnership in these giveaways. They ask you to participate by sending them bitcoin first ranging from 0.1 to 20 BTC which is a typical sign of a scam.

The CEO of Binance, CZ has asked users not to click the link and not send any Cryptocurrency..unfortunately a few minutes later, he also got hacked. 

Crypto Twitter sees Massive Hacks. 

The hack is said to have started with a Cryptocurrency trader who goes by the name @AngeloBTC on twitter, he was hacked first. Then followed by Binance, CZ, Justin Sun and many others. 

They even Retweeted these tweets with those hacked accounts which shows that they are either a group doing this or one person. 

The hacker also uses one wallet address in all the hacks involving cryptocurrency accounts. 

Extended Hack to non crypto influencers

The hackers have also extended this activities into other large personalities in the society such as Bill Gates, kim kardashian, Kanye West, Barack Obama and many more.

The Hack has struck the Crypto Space with a lasting scare since today will never be forgotten not even for the Twitter team. They single highhandedly hacked a whole lots of accounts

The Twitter support has said that they are working on identifying what the problem was, and Tron CEO, Justin Sun who was also a victim of the hack has offered to pay $1 million to anyone that can i identify who did the hack and get their accounts back.

The exchange would need the approval of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), if this was to happen, then Coinbase would have gained victory over other platforms competing for the recognition and endorsement from SEC.

The source of this news is said to have requested anonymity because the listing preparations are confidential. Coinbase spokesperson also stated that the company does not comment on rumors or speculative news. The source however stated that the listing could happen this year or early next year and that the plans are subject to change since the exchange is yet to announce it’s plan on going public. The SEC has also refused to comment on this matter.

The exchange was founded in 2012 by Brian Armstrong and today is one of the well known and top traded cryptocurrency exchanges in the US and other parts of the world. They have an estimated 35 million customers who trade various assets on the exchange platform. 

The exchange raised over $8 billion back in 2018 in a private fundraising and possibly plans on going public via a direct listing instead of a Traditional Initial Public Listing (IPO)
