Leading Indian technology company Mahindra has signed an agreement with Edutech firm Idealabs to build and equip engineering students on blockchain skills and knowledge. They will do this by offering professional certification blockchain courses.
Studying these courses would include live online courses and expert sessions taught by individuals who are professional on the blockchain industry. They could also have this courses taught in public campus and universities. Students will learn about Blockchain related topics and techs like blockchain, Smart contracts, Dapps among other things.
Through this partnership, engineering students will be equipped with quality knowledge of blockchain and also have necessary skills that surround blockchain Technology. And there Is a possibility of getting employed by the initiative or they could assist the students with job opportunities within the space.
Rajesh Dhuddu, blockchain leader of Mahindra stated.
“It will provide exciting learning opportunities for students and help Tech Mahindra with access to readily deployable resources on blockchain,”
The two initiatives plan on building a talent pool for the blockchain industry. This should help deal with the ever rising demand for blockchain experts in the space. With the Covid-19 global pandemic turning both individuals and companies to blockchain technology, the hunt for cryptocurrency or blockchain experts has risen tremendously. The official web page for the blockchain courses for idealabs has had a 290% increase in the number of blockchain jobs.
