Turkish Real Estate Firm Accepts Bitcoin

Antalya Homes, a Turkish Real Estate firm announced that it’s customers or anyone can now purchase properties with Bitcoin on their platform. The real estate firm recorded the highest value real estate sales ever made via Bitcoin – stated the announcement on 15th of June. 

The Covid-19 global pandemic had forced the real estate sector to adapt or improve in their innovation. The pandemic forced the integration of technology and innovation in the Real estate sector, one of which was the fact that cryptocurrencies being used to pay for items or any commodity became widespread in these periods. Online tours and online transactions have become the new norm. 

Speaking on how they have improved, Bayram Teckce, chairman of Antalya Homes stated

“In the sale of a villa in Antalya, we recorded visuals of the house with a drone and did an online viewing tour with the customer. Then, we brought the buyer and the seller together on an online meeting and finalized the negotiations. Antalya Homes brokered the payments with Bitcoin. This sale, worth [$1.25 million], was the highest valued property sale ever made by Bitcoin in Turkey”

Bayram Tekce also stated that not a lot of people in the real estate sector are making good use of this new innovations, only few real estate companies are able to do this. 

“The Covid-19 pandemic is changing the whole life and way of doing business. It is important to keep up with the changing dynamics. Having the innovation as a corporate value, we continue to be the pioneer in the field of PropTech (Property Technology)”

Antalya Homes also offer payment options for other cryptocurrency other than BTC : They allow 

XRP, BCH, LTC, USDT, BTG, ETH, XLM.
