A Plugin developed by the Amsterdam-based WordProof allows WordPress users to Time-stamp their contents on the Ethereum Blockchain. The development enables the website users to deal with copyright issues by giving them the ability of time Stamping their contents thereby proving the authenticity of the creator.
The Announcement was made by WordProof at the London BlockDown 2020 3D Virtual Blockchain conference on the 22nd of October. The announcement also stated that it supported other popular Blockchain such as Telos and EOS.
Content theft is of serious concern and sometimes information is altered by third parties thereby impacting the truth, the new development would serve as a unique harsh or print which shows the latest information added and the time it was added. Creators of those contents would be able to prove their authenticity anywhere and anytime since the Blockchain technology does not forget and cannot be allowed.
Jelle Van Der Schoot, Head of product at WordProof stated the version of the Time-stamping tool is the best and most user-friendly Time-Stamping tool for any and all content management platforms and online E-commerce platforms.
