Jim Jefferies, an Australian comedian has revealed on his Podcast : I don’t Know About It that he owns 1 Bitcoin. He stated that he was more into cryptocurrency and very well informed about it than he’s comedian team knew about. The program is designed to bring up topics Jefferies has little or no idea of.
Jefferies said “I have one Bitcoin, I bought it as a bit of a laugh just on Robin Hood app just to see what this Crypto is all about”.
Jim said this in the presence of “invest Diva” Kiana Daniel who found out Jefferies is yet to move the funds off the exchange. Kiana explained some basic cryptocurrency terms and history of cryptocurrency. Among those basic things about Crypto was the fact that it isn’t advisable to allow funds to stay on exchanges: not your keys, not your Bitcoin.
When the subject of the Creator of Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto came up, Jefferies quickly said
“Everyone knows who he is”
And when the discussion of Cold wallets came up, Jefferies said.
“I’m going to buy some Bitcoins, and I’m gonna put my wallet in the Fridge”.
Jefferies is estimated to have a Net worth of $9 million making he’s investment in Bitcoin a 0.1% of he’s assets. Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX had revealed that he owned 0.25 Bitcoin in May, this makes Jefferies Bitcoin richer than him since he’s Bitcoin is worth $9,239 as at time of writing and that of Elons is worth $2,307.
On July 2, Anthony Pompliano had successfully convinced comedian Bill Burr to also invest in Bitcoin.
