Leading Austrian Telecom provider AI payment, a subsidiary of AI Telekom Austria has announced that users now have payment options with cryptocurrency. This means users can now make payments using cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dashcoin.
AI payment is an innovative and secured platform that enables cashless payment process. With the digital currencies on the platform, retailers or merchants in Austria can now accept digital currencies. This integration is an addition to other options AI is utilizing like Maestro or Credit cards payment via Alipay and Wechat.
Merchants now have the option of accepting cryptocurrencies, however, payments made with cryptocurrencies will be converted to Euros and then sent to the merchants via the cash desk. This is done so as to eliminate any exchange rate or currency risk and also eliminate the need to become grounded in cryptocurrency, meaning that just about any person can choose to accept crypto without being a specialist in the crypto space.
