Ocean Builders, a company I charge for building “sea pods” or floating homes has revealed a new Crypto cruise ship known as Satoshi. The Cruise Ship will sail from the Mediterranean to Panama, where the ship’s anchor will be dropped.
The crypto ship Satoshi has 777 cabins which are said to be auctioned out as Condos. The Ship is 811 feet long with 12 decks. The Cruise Ship comes with three restaurants, a juice bar, three bars, two cafes, four whirlpools, a water park, two pools, and many more. Payments can be done in BTC for all goods and services offered in the shop alongside other payment options like Fiat e.g. US dollar(USD).
The Cruise Ship will be delivered on Nov.4 in the Mediterranean and will subsequently be renamed to Satoshi, Chad Elwartowski, COO of Ocean Builders noted.
“We look forward to creating a hub for technology and innovation here in Panama. Our goal is to figure out how to live sustainably on the sea and chart new waters in this new frontier.” In addition to permanent residential units, Ocean Builders says that vacation rentals will also be available on the ship.
Reports from the Maritime executive publication states that the Cruise Ship was formerly known as “Pacific Dawn” by P&O Cruises Australia. It was built in 1991 and has been operating since then alongside the Princess Cruises and P&O Cruises.
People can now register as registrations are now opened and auction of the cabins will take place between Nov.5 and Nov.28. Ocean Builders also announced that the move-in date would be January next year. Buyers will be able to gain full ownership of the cabins and from then on pay monthly fees to help deal with operating services.
The company plans on selling 200 cabins first for a price range of $25,000 and $50,000.
