GrayScale investment today announced that the Registration Statement on form 10 that was filled with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on behalf of the Grayscale Ethereum Trust has been approved and is effective. The Trust is now a SEC reporting Company with its shares Registered to the section 12(g) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the “Exchange Act”). Grayscale investments is the world’s leading and largest digital currency asset manager and has over $5.9B under its control as at September 2020.
The investment has been Investing in Bitcoin and other top Cryptocurrencies for a long time now and even doubled it’s effort in purchasing them after the popular Bitcoin halving occurred earlier this year. Grayscale has 10 investment products with which they provide their users exposure to the digital currency asset class in the form of a security also eliminating the challenge that comes with purchasing them. The statutory holding period of Shares purchased through 6months allowing investors in this shares on earlier market liquidity stipulated understanding Rule 144 of the Securities Act of 1933 , as amended (the “Securities Act”) .
Quarterly annual reports are expected to be filled by the Trust, other fillings include the Trust Financial Statements on form 10-Q’s and W-K with the SEC along with current reports on form 8-K and all other requirements in compliance with the obligations under the Exchange Act.
