IOST Launches Enterprise Blockchain Service Platform

IOST, an ultrafast, decentralized blockchain network based on the proof of believability (POB) and known for the development of high utility decentralized applications (dApp’s) has unveiled the launch of their Blockchain-as-a-service (BaaS) platform for the public to build on. The BaaS platform otherwise known as Aircraft Carrier Plan is open to different sectors who want to build or develop on the blockchain solutions, they include :Government Affairs, Charity, supply chain sector, internet of things (IoT), E-commerce,  Education, medical /beauty and other areas.

The BaaS platform is reportedly based on six underlying core technologies of blockchains: Multi-cloud support, multi-chain support, permission management, smart contracts, privacy protection, consensus mechanism – and customized by Hyperledger Fabric, the most widely used Consortium chain system in the world. The IOST BaaS transactions per second (TPS) has been measured to reach tens of thousands and it can still simultaneously update Millions of data and support the upload of millions of data.

The announcement made mention of the challenges most sectors faced and how the IOST BaaS platform was the perfect solution for them. Take the education sector for example, the traditional educational system has flaws, some of which are widespread falsification of academic qualifications and the difficulty in assessing the teaching quality of institutions amongst others. The IOST Aircraft Carrier plan will ensure that the academic data, student evolution files and other data related to academic history is stored and recorded on the blockchain. This development will limit or stop the rapid falsification of academic qualifications in the educational sector.

The announcement also covered the IOST partnership with a global leading down company EHang, which is using IOST pass to provide a safe and reliable data management system for drone companies to ensure the operating system is encrypted, verified and temper-proof against third parties.
