Opera Browser Partners With Ramp to Allow UK Users Purchase Crypto Via Banks

Opera browser, one of the most popular browsers in collaboration with Ramp will make it possible for UK users of the browser to have access to purchasing cryptocurrencies via their bank accounts. 

Charles Hamel, Head of Crypto at Opera informed that UK customers will have access to purchase Ethereum (ETH) for now with plans to add more Crypto options in the near future.

Opera is one of the leading browsers with an estimated user base of over 200 million plus worldwide. It is also one of the browsers to offer to work with Blockchain and Cryptocurrency even providing in-built wallets and DApp (Decentralized Applications) explorers.

The browser launched its first Crypto wallet back in 2018 and since then has seen tremendous growth and expansion. They are estimated to have over 170,000 monthly active users on the Crypto aspect of the browser.
