Travala.Com Sees Increase In Booking Revenue After Expedia Partnership

The Online blockchain travel and hotel booking platform has seen tremendous increase in the number of rooms booked through its platform, this comes after the recent partnership and integration with Expedia. 

Juan Otero, CEO Travala.com said that the platforms booking revenue increased by 70% in just two weeks after partnership with the booking giant, Expedia. 

He also said that the use of cryptocurrency to pay for bookings had grown too.

“We’re also seeing a sharp increase in the number of bookings paid with cryptocurrencies, particularly in the native AVA token as the preferred crypto payment option after Bitcoin. From 59% of the total bookings in June paid with cryptocurrencies to almost 70% so far in July following the recent partnership with Expedia.”

Partnerships in the business world help like minded businesses or companies grow. The CEO of Travala.com also noted that the Expedia partnership is one of the contributing factors to the platform’s growth. 

“The easing of travel restrictions has definitely impacted our recovery, however the acceleration of growth we’re witnessing since the partnership with Expedia is significant. As we partner with more leading travel suppliers like Expedia, the Travala.com platform becomes more and more competitive.”
